Tues, 11 6-7pm Wayne Curtis goes over Basic Electric Guitar Repair

Wayne Curtis is a jack of all guitar trades, making any piece of you-know-what sound like white gold. I’ve touched some of the guitars he’s built from scratch and believe you me, if you own an electric guitar, come to this class and learn how to make a junker sound wayyy better, or just how to do a quick repair for common problems. Come with questions (and even your problematic guitar!), leave a happier person.

Wed, 12 6-7pm Charles Richard presents Basic Screenwriting

C.E. Richard will offer a short presentation on conventional plot structure for screenplays, whether in short form or feature length. Participants are invited to come with story ideas already in mind. C.E. Richard is a nationally recognized filmmaker credited with nearly two dozen documentaries for PBS and other distributors! He teaches screenwriting and film at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Wed, 19 6-7pm David Egan shows us his Songwriting ways

Mark your calendars to come and learn the secrets to how David Egan stretches his songwriting muscles. David has written more than one Grammy winning song & for people like Irma Thomas, Marcia Ball, Etta James…even Percy Sledge has put one of his songs a record. Geeze David! www.davidegan.net for more info.

Wed, 26 5:30-7pm Tony Daigle does an encore of Beginning Pro Tools

Tony Daigle, another local Grammy maker and one of the loves of the Co-Op’s heart, returns this month to do a beginning Pro Tools class. Come and learn the basics from a Total Pro! http://www.myspace.com/tonypdaigle to hear some of his tunes.
